    Relativity Metric Program is a small, Java based application specially designed to displays the effect of relative motion on the spatial and temporal separation of events in special relativity.

    In the Default scenario, by dragging the red Circle at the center of the simulation, two events are observed in a stationary reference Frame and the same two events are depicted in another reference frame . The spatial and temporal separation between the two events can be set by dragging the red circle or by using the text boxes provided. The slider can be used to change the relative speed between the two frames. The square of the space-time interval, which is invariant, is also shown.

Typically, the first column of the input file will contain key information on which to group the data. The second column will contain the values to examine for outliers, examining the data by groups. Alternatively, if you provide a file with only one column of data, then all of the values will be examined en masse and the outliers removed.     The disturbance can be mass Density, pressure, or Electric Field depending on the physical context. The Default wave function is sinusoidal but any other analytic function can be entered in the Text Box. The number of sampling points can also be changed.
